Haiku en Casle de Aduchi

安土城　踏むは霜か　石仏か
Aduchijo Fumu ha shimo ka Sekibutsuka

Azuchi castle
Step on the frost or
Stone Buddhist images

神も仏も知る事か。
そんな信長が、築城にあたり、どこからでも石材を集め、
階段には石仏までもが使用されています。
後に比叡山を焼き払った、信長のすさまじさを感じます。

Nobunaga didn’t care about Buddha or God,
that Nobunaga corrected rocks for material of built castle.
Even stone Buddhist images were not exception.
Some stone Buddhist images are used for stairs.
It could be felt that ghastly of Nobunaga
who set fire to Hieizan and burned them down.

賀の道を　かすみに映る　俳聖（はいかい）や
Ga no michi wo Kasumi ni utsuru Haikai ya

Shadow in the misty
Haiku master

春風や　忍びの筆に　奥の道
Harukaze ya Shinobi ka fude ka Oku no michi

Spring wind
Secret shadow or writing brush
Oku no (hoso) michi


伊賀に訪れました。
俳人松尾芭蕉の生まれた場所です。
芭蕉は、高齢だったにも関わらず、短期間で長距離を旅しました。
忍の者の仕事である、情報伝達を俳句に残したという説があります。

In Iga.
It is a place where haiku poet Matsuo Basho was born.
It traveled around the long distance in a short term though Basho was aged.
There is a theory of having left the haiku the information report that is the work of the ninja.

Haiku en Awadu Onsen

梅の香に　那谷のむす苔　湯花ゆらり
Umeno ka ni Nata no musu koke Yuge yurari

Flagrance of Plum flowers
Green moss in the Nata (temple)
Steam of natural hot spa is flickering


粟津温泉での一句。
梅の香りが漂い、那谷寺の苔は雪解け水でしっとりと美しく、露天風呂でくつろいだ一日でした。

One phrase in hot spring of Awatsu.
The fregrance of the plum tree drifted.
The moss of Nata temple is softly beautiful in the meltwater.
It was a day that had relaxed in the outdoor hot spring.

Haiku en el Castillo de Gifu

長良川　眺めて描く　天下武布
Nagaragawa Nagamete egaku Tenkabufu

Nagara River
Observe to make images
Unified Japan


岐阜城にて。
天下武布を唱え、山城から流れゆく長良川をみつめ、天下取りとしての我が身を、壮大なスケールで描いたのだろう。

In the Gifu castle.
Nobunaga recited unification of Japan (Tenkabufu) while he observed the flow of Nagara River from the mountain castle of Gifu.
He might have drawn a grand scale picture of himself who would be unification of Japan.

Haiku y Senryu

Every time I visited places, some images apreared in my brain.
Images are like pictures, photos and....yes, Haiku Japanese poem.

Haiku, Senryu, Tanka, Waka...there are some types of Japanese poems.
It can be said, Senryu and Haiku are quite popular.

Haiku has some rules those must include a seasonable word and Kiri-go.
Senryu is more flexible to explain what your feeling are without specific rules.
Only it needs to keep 5.7.5

Recently Haiku rules are more flexble, my Haiku can be Senryu or Haiku sometimes.

There are "Salary men Senryu" in Japan.
It is very funny and well explanations of everyday life.
